Occupational therapists (OT) facilitate health and well-being through engagement or re-engagement in occupation. The primary goal is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life. They achieve this outcome by enhancing the individual's ability to participate, by modifying the environment, or by adapting the activity to better support participation.

Speech Therapy is the treatment of physical and/or cognitive deficits/disorders resulting in difficulty with communication and/or swallowing. A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) can address speech production, vocal production, swallowing difficulties and language needs through exercises, audio-visual aids and introduction of strategies to facilitate functional communication.
